any help would be appreciated John.

Have the same problem on the left drivers side. Tried to pull the vent out (like BMW) but no success

Don’t know if this will help.
I have Citroen C3 Aircross and had a very similar problem. Really annoying Rattle, vibration from passenger side air vents.
Took me a while to find it wasn’t the air vent, looked up under the dash on the passenger footwell behind glove compartment and found a plastic cover that’s held in place with a couple of plastic poppers, this is what was rattling.
It could still be lifted up and down even with poppers in place.
Jammed it , rattle stopped .
