Map and Touch Screen Updates
As stated - I have tried Waze and I do not get on with it. I also tried google maps and came to the same conclusion.
All I wanted was a in car TomTom system with regular updates, speed alerts and one that could display the speed limit of the road that I was driving on. Its amazing that my TomTom Go does all of this with updates for life with a one off price of £95!
I suppose I was expecting too much from a TomTom system modified by a car manufacturer although friends with other car makes do no seem to report any problems.
Is it also possible that the software updates are non country specific and that they have to comply with French law and so limit some of the functions?
One other thing - apart from the above issues I really like this car! But after 3 months of owning it I REALLY think the Sat Nav and speed alerts is not on the high list of priorities for Citroen.

I think there is a fundamental problem with the Map upgrades system. I recently bought a 2018 C3 Aircross Flair 110. The Citroen update app showed that there was a screen update, which I performed successfully. It now tells me that there nis no available updates for either Touch Screen or Cartography. The currently installed version is shown as v 7.0.0 and is years out of date, a major trunk road opened in 2017 is completely missing. Citroed Customer Services said that I had the latest version and an update would be out shortly. Not true obviously, as they didn't even ask me what version was installed.

Similarly, My Citroen App says nothing available - no screen or map update. Yet on the Citroen connected services site it says there is.
My existing version is: 21.07.67.32_NAC-r0 dated 15/02/2019
My Mapping version is: 11.0.0-r0 dates 07/08/2018
So the My Citroen App is in error it seems. I have downloaded the Update app and am now downloading the system software update which is painfully slow via their servers, despite a fast fibre connection at my end.
I will go and update the system shortly, then see what happens regarding any later map update as 2 years out of date is a bit ridiculous I agree.

I updated my touchscreen few weeks ago from 21.08.22.32 nac-r0 to 21.08.84.12 my maps didn't need updating according to citroen app.
I can understand differences in touchscreen updates according to model, but not sure if age/model has got anything to do with a map update.
