My grandson required a jump start after leaving his interior light on  but when i tried to attach leads to my C3 aircross i came across the plastic cover which hid one battery post and cover could not be removed without disconnecting cable to battery.
It made me wonder if ever i needed to have a jump start it would not be easy.

Your engine needs to be running when you do a jump start so your battery needs to be connected.
On my C3 Aircross the positive lead is at the front of the battery box under a cover as you say. But the terminal has an angled metal piece to connect the jump lead too. The negative jump lead should be connected to the drivers side upper engine mount.

Thank you Beanee3, i thought there may have been a reason why they hid the negative connection.
