Downloading from C 5 aircross dashcam.

Hi, I'm having trouble down loading data from the built in dashcam in my C5 aircross. I cannot down load the app to my phone as it says my phone is to new. So I was wondering if any body could talk me through how to download to my phone via a cable.

Simplist way to do it is to a laptop using a usb cable. The camera acts like an external drive, just connect, select the files you want to copy, and either put them on the laptop hard drive or download it to a memory stick or memory card.
EDIT, use a good quality cable, a cheap one may well not work.

It's also much quicker than to your phone.
