Is suspect if it's a 1.5 Diesel, then most of them are affected to be honest, but you can send the VIN via PM if you want.

Hello - Again
Following on from the 'random bleeping'
- I think the bleeping is coming from the car picking up 'speed/bus lane/mobile cameras + phone masts'.
Is there some way of switching this 'facility' off?
Plus
Since the cold snap of weather (down to -7 in stockport) a few weeks ago - the glow plug warning light momentarily came on which is ok.
But since then its been illiuminating every morning up to about 9°...help!
Any ideas?
I do like the car - having previously had 3 Picasso diesels (and Citroens in genreal since 1981) but this car is proving challenging.
Thanks

I think you need to have a good read of your owners manual....

It'll be one of 2 things, either the speed camera detection if you have an active subscription to live services (free for 3 years from when the car was new), or
The Lane Departure Warning System beeping. (LDWS). This can be disabled by holding in the LDWS button on the right lower part of the dash to the right of the steering wheel for about 6 seconds. An orange warning light will come up on the dash, confirming it is off.

If it's the speed camera alerts and you don't want the beeping, then turn this off in the navigation settings menu.

Hi Juan,
Thanks for you invaluable input.
I think it has the speed camera detection.
It's not the lane depature warning (another useless item...in my opinion)
So i need to look into the sat nav section of the hand book?
Any ideas of the glow plug warning lamp?
It's booked into Citroen M/cr again - 6th March.
Thanks
Paul

On the navigation screen click Menu then Settings. On the Map tab at the bottom of the screen, ensure ‘Allow declaration of danger zones’ (Speedcam) is off or on as desired & confirm ‘OK’ .

On the ‘Alerts’ tab, select ‘Risk Areas Alerts’ & click on the warning triangle icon to set the alerts you want on or off.

There are some general videos on how to use the system here:

Sorry - what about the Glow Plug lamp? You didn't mention what the issue was. Are you saying it is on permanently after starting the car and not going out?

Your VIN will also help.

A few weeks ago when the temperature got to -7° the glow plug light flicked on as itt should do.
As temperatures have risen the glow plug light still comes on.
At about 9° it doesn't flick on.
Only first thing in the morning when the engine has been stood for 12 hours.

VIN - VF72CYHSMN4321146.

Thanks. Paul
