Whether deleting the App has also deleted your data too may mean reinstalling and logging in again. You are supposed to download and set up / activate the app and account first before pairing to the vehicle with Bluetooth.

Yes deleting the app removes the record unless you save the data first.
I've got mine to work by using the force stop and switching off Bluetooth. I found today Yiu don't need to do this if the break between journeys is short say 45 mins.
Anyway filled car up last Saturday and went away till last night. Refilled today with miles to go showing 32.
Pleased as one of the journeys on app showed 61.8 over 87 Miles at average 57 mph. M40 M6 A38.
