C3 Aircross Foam Filter
Anybody know where the black foam filter supplied with a new air filter cartridge fits please? Some filter manufacturers include this as standard and some don't. I've been told that it is for crankcase ventilation but still don't know where it's supposed to be fitted. Strange how it's supplied with the air filter cartridge. I wondered if it was just a coarse filter that fits into the air filter body casing to stop leaves and large objects clogging the cartridge pleats but still can't see anywhere that is the right shape to house it.
