@Eriksons: See the last paragraph of my post:

Regarding the timing BELT: These diesel engines do not have a 'belt in oil' or wet belt - only the petrol 1.2 EB2 vehicles. This thread is dealing with the camshaft timing chain, not the timing belts - 2 separate things.

Thanks a lot!Juan Sheet wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 7:00 pm You have the 8MM Camshaft Pack, so no worries. But I note you also have an outstanding (Since June 2023) 'After Sales' event concerning 'High Urea Pressure Diagnostic Diesel Engines 6.3'
It requires an upload of the modified ECU (Engine Control Unit) calibration.
So I'd contact DS Autos, quote the Ref: JTC and get it booked in. It will be FOC.

They are changing the updates all the time, so can change build numbers. There are of course plenty of earlier 1.5 DV vehicles in circulation that would be technically excluded from the particular bulletins, but that doesn't mean to say there won't be the problem - and that is why the technical bulletin still remains under many of these older vehicles with this engine. But if the issue was more prevalent, as opposed to the odd case, we would be hearing a lot more about it to be honest.
Thank you
