Apple CarPlay question

Hi, we have two cars one that the wife drives and uses nothing only the radio it’s a 2019 c3 aircross we are going on a trip with me driving having never to have used CarPlay before I have got it connected to my phone ok I want to use google maps for a satnav my question Is can we still listen to fm radio whilst on CarPlay? If so how please.

My radio just stays on after connecting my phone and selecting Apple car play.

If you have CarPlay on the display, just press the Music / 'Sources' on the left of the touchscreen and select your preferred audio source. Then press the button on the left side to go back to Carplay.
