Hi All

I have am in the process of updating the touchscreen and maps on my C5 Aircross and it has taken 0ver 1 hour 30 mins so far and has not got to the maps bit yet.

The message I have on the screen at the moment is "Software loading on demand" and it has had this message on the screen for over an hour now.

not sure if I should just shut this all down and start again with the update.

John

The updates can be quite large with firmware alone which can take 40 minutes to do, yet alone the complete European maps too!

If I were you I would of completed the Firmware first, allow that update to complete and then maybe undertake the map update separately.

Use a USB 3.0 memory stick as this can speed up the process of file transfer.

Thanks for the update.

I think something has gone wrong as it had not completed the firmware update after 2 hours. To top it all there is now an engine fault.

Had to just leave it so will need to call the garage on Monday to get them to check it out

You do get a progress bar so sounds like it’s failed.

No problem starting again as I had a failed update of Maps and did it again and all was good.
