Evening all. I am doing my brothers rear brakes on the weekend (he has the c3 aircross, 2018 1.2 model)
Would anybody know the torque setting for doing the hub nuts (the big one that holds the brake drum on) back up. I have new nuts and caps ready along with the shoes. He phoned the main dealer but they where unwilling to share the information as he wasn’t getting the brakes done there.
Any help or pointer greatly recieved. Cheers

Thanks for the info, and I apologise for presuming wrongly!
I also very surprised that they still fit drum brakes, you'd think that all round discs would now be easier and cheaper to fit.

This may be true, but Citroen have often fitted to lower power versions. We have a fairly rare 2011 C3 with a 110bhp engine with rear discs, but most had drums. Part of the issue with Citroen rear discs is that the wheel bearings are integral with the discs and you have to replace both which make it expensive. With drums, you will probably only need to replace the shoes and (possibly the drums) which could be significantly cheaper.
