Turn the radio volume up while the satnav voice is talking.

Over speed warning is not exclusive to Citroen sat nav.

With so many gripes, maybe you should have done more homework?

Filler cap flap locks when the car doors are locked.
No you can't turn the stop start off permanently. You can disable in the car menu on the touchscreen. It defaults back on when ignition cycled. It cuts down on pollution and saves fuel.
If you are that unhappy trade it in
Full handbook is available on the internet as it says at front of the abridged one in car. Most customers don't read them so they don't waste paper printing them all.
Also try Scan my Citroen app. That's a handbook but you can scan with your mobile phone items you want answer too. The Mycitroen App also has handbook that is applicable to your vin number in it.

This is interesting reading.

I don't know what the OPs objections actually are. Unfortunately the choice of car without stop/start may be very limited as it is a fuel saving and pollution reducing feature and manufacturers will want to be seen to be as green as possible. I have tried to find out whether the system is mandatory for new cars but can't find anything.

I've been using Stop/Start on my previous Cactus and my current C5 Aircross for 5 years, and never had a problem. The start is always instant, and properly managed by the vehicle computers. It's designed to stop pollution, which cannot be a bad thing. I really don't understand peoples' dislike of it.

@routemaster1, that was a really interesting link, so thanks for that.

The satnav voice is controlled in the audio settings - the ones which allow setting of bass/treble/balance etc.

Go online for the full handbook or go back to the dealership as the handover was less than comprehensive.

I think it was the volume of the satnav voice that the OP was struggling with. I’ve already answered that in the second post.

what overspeed warning are you referring too. I assume that you may have speed camera subscription on your Nav for that.
What I do find annoying is the lane departure warning but yes you can deactivate with button by right knee. However on a motorway or dual carriage way it's very useful as are the blind spot warming lights in the wing mirrors.

I preferred dellortos, but as far as the Citroen goes I cannot disagree with you...
Stop/start was introduced by manufacturers to meet eu emission regulations, stuff the motorist. Unnecessary wear and tear on both battery and starter motor.
If you leave the car on the settings screen when you turn off it will start on the same screen so you can disable stop/start straight away.
