Does anyone know how to zero the mileage trip without zeroing the other items, ie average mpg, mph, etc?

I have pressed and held the button on the end of the wiper stalk and also tried the set button under the speedo display, but it always zeros all the information, not just the trip. No dealers seem to know the answer.

It's one of the reasons why they provide several trip recorders so you can leave one showing your continuous mileage, MPG and other settings over a longer period (up to the maximum mileage limit permitted) and use the other one for individual trips.

To zero the mileage shown on the right of centre on the dash, press and hold the button with 000 on it under the display with the ign on.
You can't obviousy zero the one on the left.
As you said the pressing the button on end of wiper stalk, zeros the display selected by the left hand rotary wheel on steering wheel . Or press and hold the rotary wheel.
