CarPlay disconnecting

Anyone using Apple CarPlay? For me it keeps disconnecting after about 10 minutes. I need to unplug the phone and plug it in again.
This is a shame as I can't use Waze or any other navigation app. I have Iphone XR with the latest iOS.

Iphone 7+ and no problems using Apple CarPlay. Sometimes connecting takes about one minute but it doesn't cut connection off. Wait… At first I have connection cut offs, but then I bought new "reinforced" new data cable, brand name "Cloudberry" and since then all have been fine. The original 3 years old Apple data cable was too much used.

I had issues with Android Auto. In my case it was because I had a cheap cable. It was suggested I use a Samsung original cable. I found one and it was fine from then on. Perhaps you can find an original Apple lead.
