Anyone else having problems opening the My Car torn app? I’ve been using it for several years, but all of a sudden when I try to open it, I get prompted to log in. When I try, I get the message, s problem has occurred. It’s annoying me

The app is notoriously bad and often when they update the App it can sometimes require re-logging in.

I get asked to log in about once a month
If it hangs go to the phone app index, press and hold the app symbol. Touch app info. Touch force stop. Say ok.
Restart phone.
Restart app

Thought so, the issues are similar on the iPhone app - after an update it can mean logging in again. I don't bother with it now as all my passwords are super complex and impossible to recall when it wants to connect when I'm in the car. Too much hassle and I don't really want it tracking me anyway. There's nothing like a healthy dose of paranoia.

I checked the App Store and no update. Then decided to do the “Forgot my Password” bit. As soon as I got a new password, I was directed back to the App Store, and guess what, there was now an update. After updating I was able to log in with my new password.

My Citroen App has gone insane... :D
It's added over 3k miles to the actual mileage on the clock..
Bizarrely, we had a full tank and the range said around 600 odd.. which would be correct.
Now we are down to just over 3/4 tank and the range says over 1000 ! :D
Magic fuel or what...
Tried resetting the mileage on the app... click confirm, then it defaults to the higher 3k than reality...
Oh joy... the wonderful world of Citroen... LOL

Would love a leccy Citroen, but to be honest, I don't think they have got the tech right yet.
So for now, sticking with Blue heavy oil... thanks :D

Agree with BusyBeasC5A. My 24400 miles is now showing as 39421(miles). Distances are the kilometer equivalent and fue consumption changes to l/100km. I think we just have to wait for next update.

What version are you running. Mine is 1.34.1.
Yesterday when I went to use it it said I had to sign in again.
So I did and now it shows on journeys the house number followed by United Kingdom then the town. The app hasn't updated since Jan and was ok till yesterday.
It also shows the correct mpg on the trips but the range and the milage covered is showing the distance in Kms but still says miles. So as 5 Mike trip says 8 mi.
The servicing is also showing distance in kms.
I have reported it on the comment pages on playstore.
