Coin in the handbrake console!

Hi all, my ever inquisitive toddler managed to put a pound coin in the gap next to the handbrake in my C3 Aircross! It definitely went in but I now cannot see it. Aside from losing a quid, is there any harm it could do down there? If so, is there an easy way of removing the panels to get to it? My little one has been banished back to the back seat!

It's pretty simple to do, the plastic trim surround comes off, but you'll need to chock the front wheels first as you'll probably need to release the handbrake to get the trim off:

Just use some flat trim removal tools to remove the trim carefully.
