Hi all, I have a C5 Shine Plus.
I always thought that car had built in wifi but with the connected cam now an optional extra I wonder if it has been removed.
Any thoughts.
Thanks

The WiFi is enabled via the button with the 4 squares. This will bring up a screen with connected service, carplay and Android auto up.

In the bottom left of the screen there will be an options button. Within this menu is the option to enable the WiFi connection along with options to change the WiFi name and password.

The WiFi connection won't show until it's been enabled in those settings. It also won't have internet access unless you have shared your phone's internet connection.

Forgot to say but the removal of connectedCAM has nothing to do with the car wifi as the ConnectedCAM had its own WiFi connection for accessing the camera.

The two weren't interlinked.

ConnectedCAM WiFi (if your car has it) will appear in your phone WiFi list as ConnectedCAM. It has very limited range and no internet function.
No ConnectedCAM in your car then it won't appear.
When I connected my phone to the car WiFi using share WiFi it comes up with the label System_NameCt135

The Bluetooth is labelled CITROEN

Hope this is helpful.
