Ok I've sat in my C3 Aircross and come up with the following about WiFi.
There is no ConnectedCAM in C3 Aircross so the WiFi network connected with that doesn't exist. On my C3 MK3 hatchback which had ConnectedCAM the WiFi for that was labelled Citroen.
A WiFi search on my phone today comes up with nothing whilst sat in the car.
However I did find the following.
On touchscreen touch the four squares symbol on right of screen.

On the screen that appears press options.

Select share WiFi
Slider to ON
Press Settings
On phone enter new network using the details on the car touchscreen. Press show pwd to view it. Connect
Ok on car screen.

If you are using the Mycitroen App then that is not WiFi it's Bluetooth.

This is what my phone shows on WiFi page. Not in range as out of car

Citroen today said that the button that now opens the petrol cap has replaced the button for the boot which has now become an optional extra.

They have also said that there should be Wi-Fi even without the connected cam. I am just having difficulty connecting the e-services on my Citroen app that allows you to set the cabin temperature while on charge.

So quite normal. Our 2015 C4 Picasso had the powered boot but that could only be opened using the boot button or the remote, and only closed from the button on the bottom of the door. We have never had any issue on any of the boot lids.
Fair enough I'm only going from my experience with my previous car which was a Citroen Ds5 dstyle 2013 (no automatic boot) which had a boot release button to the side of the wheel.

Strange that Citroen would put a release button inside some manual boot cars but not others.
