I agree re the aircon recycling, but it will continue to do so until the interior temperature selected is achieved.I too normally run both house and car at 21c, but I question the relevance of the numbers in the car system, my previous c3 Picasso (a vastly superior vehicle to the Aircross IMHO) the manual stressed that the numbers did NOT relate to temperature.
Highest temps ever seen? Just over 50 in the direct sun when living in Valencia, and, using the same max/min thermometer (getting a bit worse for wear) about 53 the other day in Gloucester.
Moved to the shade and it settled to 30.
