Hello all,

I've looked everywhere but could not find any correct information so I am asking the pros here :)

I just acquired a 2018 C3 Aircross 1.6 120 Diesel, sadly it did not come with the owners manual.
I want to change all the filters + oil but for the love of me, cannot find the correct type of oil.
Online I either get 0W-30 or 5W-30.

Can someone clarify which one is the correct one?

Thanks for the help!

It is not only the viscosity you have to worry about. You need low SAPs oil. Failure to use the correct oil in a PSA diesel may well result in the particle filter blocking with ash, which cannot be removed by the regeneration procedure. And also, note that resent petrol cars are now fitted with a particle filter. My 110bhp petrol C3 has one. I don't know whether a low SAPs oil is specified for those.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.

I searched the web and found that the ACEA 2 + PSA B71 2312 standard was the one for my motor so that should be the one that I need to buy.

But still I always find it on the two different viscosities mentioned and have no clear idea on which one is the better one for my motor.

If only the Owners manual would have been included :(

Google is your friend (sometimes). Have a look in this manual.

I did have a look at the pdf manual already, but it doesn't specify the viscosity of the oil.

There a promo page for Total INEO First 0W-30 on it, but that's about it.

On line versions of all handbooks for all Citroen range are available using the link below.
Once you have the site open go to top right.
Touch the small down arrow by the French flag.
From drop down menu touch UK
Now touch the car you want the manual for
From the overlay choose model

Some open as the manual others are PDF downloadable
Search the alpha index for the item required
