I washed mine this morning i needed a stepladder to do the roofand took me about an hour and a half.
Has anybody used the car wash, the roof bars look and feel a little flimsy,

Since I bought my new C3 Aircross Flair Auto back in Feb 2020 it has been through car wash 6 times. No I'll effects. I have washed it once by hand.
6 times in 16 months doesn't sound much but I was in total lockdown for 84 days from March to June 2020 and reduced travel since. 4959 miles on odometer, average 300/mth. My paintwork is also protected by in my case Hyundai paint protection which removes the need to polish.

There are various types of this on the market to help place bikes on rack, access roof box, wash car etc. some have been reported to have snapped while others have scratched door frame because back end did not have rounded corners or rubber fitted.
