Citroen C3 / C5 Aircross Forums

I noted the other day when I was looking at voltage readings that when in neutral my C3 Aircross Flair 130 bhp, automatic, is limited to 4000 revs when the accelerator is pressed down in neutral and park. In drive it revs well above that.
Is this the same on manual gearbox versions?

Remembered to try today, revs way above 4000 in neutral. Read on another forum its done to protect auto gearbox in park but not when in drive. Who am I to know.

Thanks for that sound feasible possible torque converter damage with no load.
