I have a usb stick with lots of various Citroen Logos and nice background pics i have downloaded . Can i use any of the pics as a Startup screen ‘ or wallpaper pic ? If so how

Do you mean you want the pics on your USB drive placed on a phone or tablet or the screen in your car ?

On the Screen . Wallpapers pretty boring as Standard

You will need to find a software person who could look at screen update downloaded from Citroen and possibly change wallpaper jpg.

I am lost here what wall paper do you have at present. On my C3 2020 Aircross the screen just shows what you select. You can so it would appear look at photos if you put in a usb stick and when on music press options and then photos but not done it . Is this the new type screen.

The only “wallpaper” currently shown is the Citroen logo on the start up screen, it’s only there for a few seconds so replacing it would hardly be worth the effort.

As mentioned before, you can mirror photos, but I don’t believe that is what the OP wants.

As you say it's only there for a few seconds and sometimes not at all. Fiddling with it may stop the system operating completely and mess the car up.

I replaced my wifes car startup image with a MS Windows Blue Screen image - she was not impressed...
