start/stop not working

I have just fixed a battery drain problem caused by a dashcam, so charged my battery overnight, today my stop/start worked at a roundabout, I wondered what was going on!

We have had a c3 auto for three years now without any problems on the stop/start, were expecting delivery of a new c3 aircross shine plus auto mid november and reading all these posts doesn't fill me with confidence, if they fit something to a car one would expect it to work or is that to much to expect these days.

And since I charged my C3 Aircross Flair Auto EAT6 during lockdown the stop start has performed without missing a beat.
Problem is you only hear from a a handful of owners on this site with problems. You never hear from all the others whose cars work faultlessly.

Mine has always worked fine.

I had mine in November last year, and the start stop began working in June or July this year, when we had that really hot spell. Been fine ever since.

Probably the climate control cutting in the aircon.

I don’t use climate control. I was thinking more that the battery had charged to enough capacity, as I have only been doing short journeys.

That's the usual cause, battery voltage low or air con demands, power steering underload.

Since the last time I charged mine up and then left it for 24 hrs without activating any of the electronics the stop start has worked every time I've been out.
