Why do you want Citroen to know where and when you go everytime you drive your car?
If our government announced that we had to fit a black box in our cars to track our every journey there would be a public outcry.

I wouldn’t think they are that interested. I don’t go anywhere exciting

Ok as promised I tested the latest version. Worked as before on my car.
Now I also did a bit if research.
I went to the MyCitroen app symbol on my mobile Android phone and held it and went to app info and Force Stop.
Bluetooth ON on phone.
Mobile data OFF
Got in car and drove to shops.
Arrived switched off, No download.
Did shop
On phone opened App but then put it in background i.e. not showing on screen
Mobile data OFF
BLUETOOTH ON
Drove home
Switched off, data transfer both journeys
So it needs the app not force stopped to transfer.
Bluetooth as that's how the phone connects to car.
