C3 Aircross Wave 2 Map Updates

Hi Everyone.

Just wanted to advise you that the official PSA approved version 20.0.0-r0 of the Connected Nav maps are now available for the C3 Aircross at long last! This is now showing in the map update software and also in the MyCitroen App.

It is 9.20Gb in size.

Well miracles never cease.

I downloaded the update last night to a USB stick, which went well, took 50 min. I will see how it goes when I get time to upload to the car.

It’s always best to update the maps as the last official map released was nearly 3 years ago, so well out of date. You don’t want to find that roads are missing when you do need to make that journey; but also, the speed sign recognition and recommendation system also uses the mapping data as well as the camera if you have that system.

Ignore that, it’s doing it, didn’t spot the greyed out Citroen logo...

Downloading using the Citroen Update computer app. It's 9.20 GB and about 50mins over my sky fibre connection.

Ok note that when transferring to your USB stick the screen on laptop appears that it is doing nothing. It transfers in 2.8 GB blocks complete transfer took 15 mins.
Next step is to update car but you have to have the engine running for the total time it requires and it's cold out do I'll leave it till better weather.
