Only had 8 mth old aircross flair car 2 days but changing from a fiesta the sat nav is virtually black & white, i read some do not use Citroen built in nav but prefer google maps or waze. Any thoughts on options.
Thanks

I find the satnav compares well with previous Renault Captur and Nissan Juke. You can change some of the functionality in the settings. I have never felt the need to use any other satnav as what I had did the job. Everybody to their own.
Built in sat Nav works well. You can change the display by pressing the menu button at bottom of screen. Then settings. Change the settings as required, i.e. Orientation, lighting, 3d display. Then click OK bottom left.
Speed limits are not shown on the display but appear on the dash and if fitted, the head up display.
Directions appear on head up too, so no need to look at the touchscreen.

Yes the colours are a bit boring and the town/place names a bit sparse, and it often says e.g. "bear left" when it really means "turn left" and vice versa, but other than that it does the job well. Having had the Tomtom live traffic built-in, I'd never want to be without it again! Personally I'll be happy to pay after the 1st three years as I can't be bothered messing around plugging phones in every time I do a trip (but I am a bit older than most of you probably )
