hi, can anyone advise how they have fitted roof bars to the rails. I have a set of thule bars which do seem to fit, but just want to compare there is a flat side of the clamp and the other has a lip which just fits under the rail. I e attached a photo to show. Thanks

My bars (Aldi special buy) wrap around a tiny bit more than that but not by much. They work fine. If you can't pull them off, they won't jump off by themselves.
After fitting I always put tape along the full length open slot on the bottom of the bars otherwise they whistle.

Hi.

I just came across this post and wondered how you had got on with the thule bars. I am trying to get a pair of feet for mine but don't know which ones to get. Halfords provided the wrong ones. Do you know the part name or number for the feet (I already have the bars)?

Thankyou for your help

I have the Thule 775 foot which fits my C5 aircross and a friend's C3 aircross.

I also use the Aldi ones. 15 quid and they work great though as the other chap said, a bit of Gaffer tape or such covering the slots on the bottom to prevent whistling.
