Glad they have finally introduced the auto version of the 1.2, but I do enjoy the 1.6 petrol with the well matched autobox.

Yes it is. I'm more than happy with mine. Plenty of power when required, cruises at 70mph at just over 2K revs and returns me an average 40mpg.
Was C5 Aircross PureTech 130 S&S Flair, Tijuca Blue/Black Roof, Metropolitan Grey ambience
Now C5 Aircross Pureteh EAT8 S/S Shine+ Cumulus Grey/Black Roof, Metropolitan Grey ambience

I was surprised that they used the 1.2L engine in the overseas models of the C5 Aircross, here in NZ it is only offered in the 1.6L petrol engine with either 6 speed or 8 speed auto.

I guess it's not the engine that is dropped, it's only the requirement for 180PS engine if you want auto transmission.?
The 180PS petrol engine is still available here (EU).
