Had a change to test the grip control yesterday here in the Eifel.
on our way to the Belgium border for shopping, the temp suddenly went down to 0 C and it started snowing.
The road was covered with a thin layer of snow and I noticed that the car was not quite driving in a streight line, more a sort of searching its way- Also cornering went very smooth .
Than I enabled the snow mode, and it was as of the car drove on rails.
Extra Benefit, braking was very smooth, without the extra power braking (which I hate, after 47 years I know how to brake).
I once saw a movie on YouTube (chinese) wo had the same experience, but there was much more snow.

I think Grip Control is working, by the way I saw a pic of the new Range Rover, and this car has also a Grip Control.

I get Grip Control because I thought that the car maybe is better to handle on icy roads. Here roads are icy and snowy from end of october to beginning of may. Now I have tried it and I can leave my yard despite that yesterday it were snowing about 20 cm and my snow blower broke:-( I have about 80 m from house to main road. Little uphill.

Good to know that, I'm living in a country where we also get snow in the winter, so anything that helps traction is a plus for me.

Had our c3 aircross 18 months,
Have tried hill descent a few times, but never the grip control till today.
Drove over a tricky bit of snow covered rd in south Cumbria... a rd that I would not attempt in my own ds4.
Found the car drove much like on dry tarmac, no issues with grip.
Drove as to the rd, took it easy under power, passed a stuck x3.... descended the hill and it felt great . No twitching under brakes on a steep hill.
Didn't feel abs kick in. Just a steady flutter as the system worked.
Glad the car has it,

I only teste my grip control on sable and it worked pretty well.

Now, what kind of tyres do you have? Still the Hankook Kinergy M+S?

My front tyres are showing high wear on the outside of the tyre. I believe it's because the dealership delivered the car with the tyres under inflated (1.8 bar). I only noticed this when the system alerted me about a drop in the tyre pressure from 1.8 to 1.7. I checked the right pressure and it's 2.3 bar, I believe.

I had a C3 hatchback 2017 with automatic box. On that it had spot and snow setting. The snow setting selects 2 gear to move off in and changes at lower revs to prevent wheel spin. I now have a C3 Aircross 2020 model with auto box. Originally I was going to specify grip control but decided as if never go off road it wasn't worth the extra money. Sad to say there is no snow setting for the auto box, sport yes but snow. Having said that it only snowed down here once in the last 3 years. Just have to select manual and start in 2nd.

Yes got the hankook kinergy m+s.
Covered about 16k and still plenty of life,
Think the tyres and grip control are great, but we don't get the snow to enjoy the features, but glad they are on it.
