I don't think there is any other way. You'll either have to get an Android phone to plug into the car or a seperate Sat Nav.

Sorry, I understand now. You have a Smartphone with Android Auto installed, you are plugging it into your C3 Aircross using a USB lead but it does not appear on your Screen.
First question, what country are you in ? Android Auto does not work in all countries. For example, it won't work in Poland. There is a list here of contries that it will work in.

https://www.android.com/auto/faq/

Second question, are you sure the lead is ok ? Many leads out there are 'Charge only' leads. They look the same as a normal lead but to save money they only have the wires inside for the power, not the wires for the data transfer. Use the lead to plug your phone into a computer and see if you can transfer data between the two.

Lastly, did you set up Android Auto on your phone ok ? Got all the boxes ticked and such...

Most likely You won't be able to activate it (tried already, updated several times, still no way), but If You somehow figure out how to activate it in the car, please share with us.

Thanks!

Hello,

I still could not get it to work on my C3 Aircross Touchscreen.

On my SmartPhone it works fine, but when I connect it to the C3 Aircross, there is no ICON to open it.

Is it because the version of my TouchScreen is not the one who has the Navigation?

Thanks

No. I don't have navigation and it works fine. What county are you in?

I´m from Portugal.

How do you make it work?

My car needs MirrorLink?

Thanks

That's probably your problem. According to the Google Android help page in that link, Portugal isn't on the list of countries that Android Auto will work in. We saw this problem before with someone from Poland. I'm guessing that there is some kind of licence or such that Android hasn't paid for Auto to work in Portugal.

Only thing I can suggest is maybe if you go into the settings of your pone and change the 'Region' to Spain then perhaps it may start working?

I do something similar with my phone that won't run the 'Live Wallpapers' app that I like when set to England but if I change the region to somewhere else, it is ok.

Let me know if it works.
