Satnav daft pronunciation
Hi, for those of you who have the Connect Nav option, just wondering if you've come across any incorrect/silly pronunciations? We live near Taunton which is pronounced "Tanton", and yesterday we were coming off the M4 and it told us to head towards Reading, which it decided to pronounce as "Reeding". The previous Citroen satnav didn't do this We haven't been to Wales in the car yet but that will be interesting

Come to Spain and you will hear some hilarious pronunciations of some of the towns etc!!! One would have thought they would get it right - Citroen slowly sliding down the slippery slope from the good name they have built.

Hi all, I haven't updated the C3 Aircross yet, but today I did the maps update on our Grand C4 Spacetourer (same/very similar TomTom system), and for the first time it pronounced 'Taunton' correctly! It took a while, but well done Citroen! (not sure about Reading yet)

My 2014 C4 GP has the earlier satnav. It has 2 voices, male and female. I usually don't have the voices on, but when I only use the male voice. Not because of any prejudice. I just can't stand the way the female voice says 'take the first eggsit'
