1.2 82 bhp Aircrosd
Has anyone else noticed when they press the clutch down and select first gear to set off, the engine speed increase by 500rpm if you leave car in neutral the engine speed drops back to tickover 1000rpm.
Also if on approach to a junction if you delay the gear change untill car starts to shudder and almost stall, the engine does not speed up as normal when pressing the gas pedal, it only goes up to 4000 rpm very slowly. The only way to sort this out is to turn engine off and restart, this clears and alows normal use of Acelerator.
Ps this car is used as a driving tuition car so its not my driving but learners who create this problem.
Any thoughts would be welcomed.
