Wipers not turning back on after engine re-start.

Does anyone else have this happen?

If I have the wipers on and turn off the engine, they don't turn back on when I re-start the car. I have to turn them off then on again.

Of course, what happens with the rear wipers is that, because they don't re-start, I go to turn them on when they already are and end up pouring a pint of windscreen wash down the back of the car.

(Not sure why Citroen feel the need to pump a gallon of screen wash out every time I pull the stick anyway.)

Yes mine does the same, but I find it’s a good idea especially in the winter when your wipers are frozen to the windscreen, it prevents damage to the wiper blades and or motor.
