Looks like it only affects 5 vehicles in total! Just your luck, eh?

Yep wife got letter about it.
Apparently locking wheel nut torque issue.

Tell you more Friday after it's been in to be checked

I'm one of the 5. Also booked in Friday, 8am. They said they have a look to see if it needs doing and if it did, was a 30 min job.

It's not the wheel nut. It is the nut and bolt that hold in the wheel bearing. The type of thing that usually locks in place with a castle nut and a split pin.

So, that's 3 of the five cars....

I think it’s affecting more than the 5 vehicles stated on the DVSA website. My VIN is not in the range listed there and the vehicle was built later than the timeframe given. I got my recall letter last Saturday and I’m taking the vehicle in tomorrow. When I phoned the local dealer, I was told there was a second recall notice and they’d take care of both problems at the same time.

I thought the date odd as well. Recall notice says it affects 5 cars built between 8 and 14th Sep 2017. I ordered mine at end Jan 2018 for delivery start of May. Perhaps the 'build' date refers to the date the chassis is made and they had them sitting around for 6 months till the rest of the car was built around it. Usually I'd say that's too long a gap but I know they had a pause on manufacturing them for a few months because they had supply problems with a specific part.

The other recall you mentioned is for diesels and it says affects 75 cars.

I ordered my Aircross in January and took delivery at the beginning of April. I don’t have a diesel, so that recall won’t apply to my car. I’ll be able to tell you more later today when I take the car in.

Went there. They checked the tightness of my nuts (Ooo, errr, missus!) , all was fine and off I went.
