Tried all ways to change the settings to 3D in the sat nav but every time I go back it's says it's on 3D but everythings flat , any ideas people ?

The 3D image is the 2D image laid forward. Not the 3D you expect from photos. The 2D is a vertical view.
The 3D gives the impression of forward viewing as you travel.

Or , I was expecting something like it shows you in the set up for picking 3d , strange ??

I understand you can just put the postcode in the satnav rather than all the address. I tried doing this when city came up as someone at the garage had advised but I couldn't fathom out how to get the numbers up instead of the letters? Any help would be gratefully received. Am I entering the postcode in the wrong place?

To search for a postcode, tap on the magnifying glass/“Search” at the bottom of the Nav screen. As you’ve probably discovered, this opens a QWERTY keyboard with letters, but to toggle to numbers tap on the “0...#” in the bottom but one row of the keyboard. Leave no spaces in the postcode.
