Hi Everyone. I have a hybrid C5 Aircross. I’ve only had it a couple of months. I can’t seem to find anywhere to explain which option is best for which type of driving. If I’m doing short journeys in and around home, say up to 4 miles, am I best to select ‘D’ or ‘B’? Equally, if I’m going further and likely to go on to petrol, what’s the best one then.
Any info would be good to make sure I’m getting the best economically from it. TIA.

Can anyone advise what mode you drive in for electric journeys please. I’m really unsure I’m using it correctly. Any info will be helpful. Many thanks.

This is what the modes are for:
It features two regenerative braking modes: Drive (position D) and Brake (position B). The latter, more dynamic, mode boosts the recovery of energy available when braking and decelerating.

Ah right, so if you’re doing journeys involving lots of stopping starting then B mode is better? Then D mode for say, motorway driving?
Thanks for your reply 👍🏼
