I only have the EAT6 in my 2020 C3 Aircross. It's coupled to a 130 bhp engine.
I had a C3 MK3 hatchback with EAT6 coupled to the 110 bhp engine.
The Aircross 130 seems better for the gearbox
Sometimes the changes can be felt but generally it is seamless. Love it

I think the EAT8 gearbox is really good. In normal (unhurried) use, the changes both up and down are seamless. It is very smooth on take off, depending on how heavy your right foot is!

I have this gearbox in my Peugeot 3008 and having had DSG and CVT gearboxes in previous cars I have to say this is the smoothest gearbox I have used.

I always considered an automatic as an old man's car. Well I'm old now and I absolutely love this gearbox. Pulling away (gently) it's almost quiet enough to pass for an electric vehicle. Almost.
With recent fuel prices, I rarely give it the full beans, and as a result, it's a smooth take-off and a gentle progression through the gears.
Dorset roads generally don't get it up to 8th but on a run I get 38mpg without any drama.

And no, you don't have to be old to drive one!

Every time I go out in my C3 Aircross 130 bhp Flair automatic EAT6 2020 I get more impressed with it. The car has 16000 miles on it and is 2 years and 11months old. Today I did two 9mile journeys on the A27 and A 3M and it returned 46 mpg at 70 mph. The acceleration is more than adequate to pee off BMW and Audi drivers. I love it and won't be changing it for anything else in the near future.
Yes some will say it's an old man's car but I proud to be 77 and a great granddad to boot.

They sit behind me at the local traffic lights in a 40 limit. Lights go green I am gone at roundabout I am still in front and I win.
