Rainwater coming in

We collected our new c3 aircross in March and since then we have had to take it back to have some adjustments made to the front passenger door. I noticed today that after some rain when we opened the door drips of water fell onto the side of the front seat, has anyone else had this problem? could it be that the door still isn't fitting right or could it be a design fault.

This is normal on C3 Aircross and the C3 MK3 as they do not have roof gutters. So water on the sides of the roof drips inside.

Same on our previous C5 Aircross and our current C4...
The designers have done away with rain gutters on most modern cars these days...to get the smooth lines they want ( looks and aerodynamics)

Downside is, rainwater does drip inside onto the door trim and seats when the doors are opened.
Beware, it's much worse on a heavy camber, when parked too !

They call it progress....... hmm.... some things... I think not...

(On the C4 they even done away with a rear wiper blade- theory is the slope of the roof allows it to run off... it does... but the road muck remains , and window is constantly dirty)
So much for designers... eh
