Hi,
First time poster here. The latest C3 Aircross C-Series is not fitted with rear parking sensors. I'm considering having them retro fitted at a Citroen dealer. Has anyone had this done? Does it integrate with the infotainment system or does it involve a separate display? Any help and advice will be most welcome.

Was thinking about fitting them to my 2019 C3 Aircross with feel spec. Asked an independent French car specialist and main dealer for price. As I wanted it integrated (as factory fit type). Went this route so no issue with warranty! They didn’t quote for the work. Car is out of warranty soon so will try again. Good luck with it, let us know how you get on.

Just an additional note. Think there might have been a problem with fitting it to original screen as poss hardware and software issues 😏

For the rear parking assistance only (this does not include camera or integration with touchscreen) the cost of the 4 rear sensor kit is £280 inc VAT, to which you must add 2 hours labour to fit the wiring harness, programming and fitting, so roughly about £550.

£250.00 + £50.00 VAT at Citroen dealer in Crawley less than 2 years ago as part of my purchase deal. No camera, just beeps when near something behind the car.

I owned a C3 Picasso to which I fitted reversing sensors. I bought the kit off Amazon. To find where to locate the sensors I found a C3 Picasso in a car park and asked the owner if I could measure the distance of the sensors on his bumper. He held the tape. The kit comes with a hold saw drill bit. The installation was fairly easy. Behind the bumpers are voids where the sensors fit. I entered the wires into the car through the spare wheel holder, via a grommet which I then sealed with sealant. The magic box u located under the rear seat and mounted the indicator by the gear lever. The wire to that run under the carpet.
It was one if these kits.

Thanks to all for your comments. I had the rear parking sensors fitted in early summer. The system is a bit basic as it consists of an audio warning only - no visual display.
Rear parking sensors were included as standard when I ordered the car, but subsequently dropped before the vehicle was built (semi-conductor shortage?). Because of this I negotiated with the dealer and had them fitted for free.
