First thing to find out is if your phone supports Android Auto and Mirror Link. Have you got Android Auto downloaded on your phone? Also , you need a good quality lead. i had trouble with mine until I was advised to use an original lead.

Mirrorlink is licenced so many phones do not have it, and it cannot be supplied later. If indeed present, it may have to be activated in the phone's settings.
Android Auto is software that you can download, if not from Google Play, then from any APK download site.
And indeed you need a good quality USB cable.

Sorry to hear that. I am sure the Citroen dealer should have a solution (oh well...)

Hi, what are you intending to use your phone for?
If just as a phone then there is no need for android auto or mirror link. Just bluetooth it to the car. My S9 connected no problems.
If you want it for personal music why not use a micro USB.
