Glad you got it updated fubar.

The Citroen website links on page 2 should now show you as having 1 firmware and 1 map update available. The mycitroen app will only show the map update for some reason.

Airtool

The usb 3.0 drive only works for transferring the data from the computer onto the usb drive as the usb ports in the C5 aircross (and most likely the C3 aircross too) are only usb 2.0 ports so it doesn't make a difference in speed of updating.

Hi martyness, would it be possible to pm me the required bit and pieces to allow me to carry out the update please.
Very frustrating being stuck on old maps!
Thank you

Hmmm! Both links on page 2 of this thread for the navigation map service are currently unavailable. Has martyness’ requests for attention finally reached some ears I wonder?

For those who have been successful, have you notice any improvements/changes in the user experience? Not if I need to go through all the effort.

Thanks in advance

ScouseMouse both links are working fine as of this moment in time.

However you do need to be using either a laptop or desktop in order for them to work properly.

As for the firmware updates they seem to have made it a bit more responsive. As for map updates with more roads being built/added/updated it never hurts to have the latest version installed.
