hi all
ive had my battery disconnected to charge all day but when ive plugged battery back in my car wont start, its turning over but thats it
any ideas please

HELP NEEDED ASAP
Do you have push button stop start or key.
If key:
With key in ignition, turn to first position and press and hold either the lock or unlock button for 10 secs. Doesn't matter which button.
If push button:
On the left of the steering column there is a flat zone with curved top. Place key here and press and hold either the lock or unlock button for 10 secs.
Note there is no need to remove the battery to charge it. Yes I understand if you park on street then yes but normally no need. Plus lead to +ve on battery negative to one of the Allen screw heads on the offside engine mount.

It's possible that the car forgot the key and as you say the imobiliser prevented the start.
I had a Xsara Picasso that used to forget the key quite regularly just taking it out if the ign and the putting it back fixed it. Vageries of modern cars.
