Penny pinching
Do you mean the buckle on the seat belt strap?
On the front belts of my C3AC I have a strap type thing that holds the buckle in place near the bottom. On the rear belts they have a plastic strip across the belt that holds the buckle about half way down the strap.

I may get a plastic strap clamp to hold the buckle a bit higher, but am not too keen on the idea of punching a large hole in the belt itself to fit a button. I'm wondering if this is the reason why they stopped it - as it would weaken the belt integrity... May even of been a recent Euro regulation that has come in.
On my 2020 C3 Aircross the front seat belts have a pleat that catches the buckle near the bottom of the pillar.
So I bought seatbelt shoulder pads and fitted them on the lap strap between the buckle and the pleat rattling.IMG_20210110_123436209.jpg[/attachment
The one on the passenger side prevent the buckle talking against the pillar trim when driving solo.

However I found that to be too low for ease of accessing. So I bought seatbelt shoulder pads and fitted them on the lap strap between the buckle and the pleat rattling.IMG_20210110_123436209.jpg[/attachment

Oh, plus one more thing I've just noticed - they've now also removed the right (UK driver's side) Grab Handle from the ceiling:
This has gone from 2019 on models it would seem
I usually buy the sun glasses case holder from Peugeot which tend to have these 'extras' on some of their models where the grab handle part number is the same. I replace the redundant grab handle and fit the glasses case in its place.
Looking at the Aircross grab handle part number and running the part search across all of PSA vehicles, there isn't an equivalent it seems

The small domed stop on seat belts have been there for generations, since seat belts where first fitted. They are held in place by a stainless steel pin that goes between the weave of the belt.
At least they were until Citroen discovered they could save €.000001 by not fitting them.
They are available on eBay.

You will have to open up the weave in the belt slightly to allow the plastic pin to pass through, easy enough to do, with no risk to the strength of the belt.
