Ok I give in. On my C3 Aircross auto it came with Nav as standard. I haven't been out much since march due to shielding but thought as I have been released to go out today. Ah ha I thought let's use the sat Nav. I had post code but I couldn't get it to take it it kept asking for city, street number. In end I made up enough to get it to take me there. However some if the roads it wanted me to use were to say the least dire.
So how do you tell it to use post code or am I being dense. TIA.

Hi, I think rather than selecting Menu then Destination, just try pressing Search from the main nav screen and that should let you enter a postcode?

If you select 'shortest route', some satnavs will select literally the shortest route and as you say it may choose dire roads. If you have a compromise setting (eg time/distance) it will select a reasonably short route but stick to larger roads.

Ok at last I managed it.

Go to search from the index.
Put destination post code in the top line that says point of interest.
Green OK comes on at bottom left, touch and away you go.
