Navigation display in digital display.

Hi, when using the option to show the navigation in the digital display ( not the pop up one but the permanent display in the middle) it always shows as night mode. Is it possible to change this the day mode. Changing the choice in the navigation system only changes the nav system and does not affect the dashboard. I am sure that when I had the original test drive the demo car was displaying day mode for the map.
