My Citroen app.

Am I the only one having issues with this app?
The instructions state it must be running to collect journey details. This is very hit and miss, some days fine, other days nothing.
Also on my older Samsung S5 , i regularly get an error message from the phone stating that it is overloading the CPV and causing heavy drain on the battery. I changed to my new Samsung S10+ and the same thing is happening.
For now I have uninstalled it as the battery is going from 100% to flat in under three hours. Without the app installed I get a full two days.

I have it installed on my Galaxy S7, and don't have any battery issues - BUT there is definitely an issue with the App dropping individual journies sometimes since I began using it with my C5 Aircross. This has been reported to both the developer and Citroen who have to date not acknowledged that there is an issue. I never had the problem with my previous C4 Cactus, so it could be related to the on-board implementation of Bluetooth in the car, but since the developer and Citroen are silent about it, I can't confirm that.

I use the program for maintaining a record of business trips, and that's challenging when the App refuses to record ALL trips!

At least it's not just me.
Don't think I will bother with it until Citroen sort themselves out.

I don't have any problems with mine. I had a good go-through when I got my C3 in April 2018 and realised that the app has to be running in the background but also that I had to change various settings so my phone didn't shut it down automatically via the 'battery management', sleep, game booster, etc.. Since sorting it all out, I never had an issue. That's the thing with Android phones, on the good side there are a lot of settings you can change to get it exactly the way you want, on the bad side, there are a lot of settings you have to change to get it the way you want.

I can assure you that when the App gives a message that 'some jouneys have not been saved due to technical issues' it is nothing to do with the phone settings. I didn't have a problem with it with my C4 Cactus but do with the C5 Aircross. It IS a problem with the App which is why the developers acknowledge that there are technical issues in their status message.

Ok,Ok, calm down! You asked if anyone was having issues, I replied that I used to but after sorting out issues I wasn't now. I made no mention or comment of your problems. Touchy aren't you!

Since you didn't quote the post you are responding to, I assume you are replying to mine. as it was the last one before yours.
I'm not sure why you're responding to my post in such an agressive manner - and you certainly weren't responding to MY question because I didn't ask one; I was responding to the original poster. I am very calm thank you, and if you think otherwise then perhaps you need to calm down! :)

Had my C5 a week. The app pulled in the data on the first day and has refused to since then.

Still trying to work out why....
