Hi,my Citroen c5 Aircross Flair+ BHDI SS A model 30/09/2019. Wondering about timing wet belt and chain,don't know it is still have old version 7 mm or upgraded? I done 36000 miles. Thanks

Regarding the timing BELT: These diesel engines do not have a 'belt in oil' or wet belt - only the petrol 1.2 EB2 vehicles. This thread is dealing with the camshaft timing chain, not the timing belts - 2 separate things.

They are changing the updates all the time, so can change build numbers. There are of course plenty of earlier 1.5 DV vehicles in circulation that would be technically excluded from the particular bulletins, but that doesn't mean to say there won't be the problem - and that is why the technical bulletin still remains under many of these older vehicles with this engine. But if the issue was more prevalent, as opposed to the odd case, we would be hearing a lot more about it to be honest.
