This might be if help. I had a C3 MK3 hatchback 2017. After a while the heater system made a click click noise. It turned out to be a missing tooth in the gear that moves the diverter flap. So when it tried to adjust the temp it jumped the tooth hence the clicks. Dealers change the gear. Fixed

If you go to infotech Citroen service and open the page and set UK there on the list of cars is a C3 that I've not seen on UK roads. Looks like this one to me. It says it has been available since 01/22 to date.

When this happens are either if you touching the locking zone on the door handles.
