Re: worn out tyres ,too soon
All that will do is just wear the rears (now on the front) just as rapidly - so saves nothing in the long run. I don't rotate mine, I just replace the fronts as needed and leave the backs which often outlast the fronts 2-3 times. I normally wouldn't do that. But I take the other car on a long conti...

Re: worn out tyres ,too soon
When I bought my C3 in 2019 I had a choice of 16" wheels or 17" wheels. On looking at various examples I found that the 17" wheels were fitted with Bridgestone and the 16" with Michelin. On checking the prices for the sizes I found the Michelin to be far cheaper, so I decided to ...

Re: Reset trip meter
Yours might be different to mine if newer, but on my 2019 Flair-Plus, the button on the stalk resets the trip computer only and needs to be pressed for several seconds to work. Short press only changes between Trip 1 and Trip 2. I have a separate physical button on the binnacle, just above the stee...

Re: Are C5 headlights ready for driving in Europe?
You may not need the stickers. Many modern cars with non-LED lights have beam patterns that make benders unnecessary. Our old C4 Picasso and our current C3 do not need them. As your legal requirement is only to not dazzle, as many cars have adjustable lights they can be set at their lowest.

Re: Someone else waiting for my new car
I wasn't aware there was a new shape C5 Aircross, but I have seen new shape C3 Aircross at my local dealer. Don't like it much. I am due in there next week for MOT on our C3, so I'll have a look then.

Re: Security
I think it is up to the owner to assess the risk and make a decision on that. I don't drive very often in higher risk areas I have mine permanently off.

Re: Extended warranty
Juan I think I have the same warranty as you, the Citroen extended warranty. I need to have my door locks looked at as they are playing up (again!) do you know if this warranty covers diagnostics costs? As it’s £100 to have the diagnostics done at my local Citroen garage I think they may charge you...

Re: 50,000 miles and its all falling apart
You don't state whether your car is a petrol or diesel. If it is a 1.2 petrol, the rubber cambelt runs in oil I don't know what the original cambelt change mileage was, but there have been issues with rubber particles coming off the belt, then potentially blocking oilways in the brake booster pump, ...
